Pagadian, Philippines - Overview: Little Hong Kong of the south

Known as the ‘little Hong Kong of the south’, Pagadian is very famous for flaunting the rolling terrain across the residential and commercial districts. It prides itself on being the greenest cleanest and largest city of Mindanao. The city is also the entry point to the cities of Iligan, Ozamiz and Cotabato. Climate & Topography

With its location in the tropical zone of the Northern Hemisphere, Pagadian has a dry season in the first quarter and a rainy season with moderate rainfall in the following one. However, there are no typhoons.

Pagadian is easily accessible due to the presence of all modes of transport, as buses run 24x7 from all the nearby and adjoining cities. To get there from Cotabato, you can also use water transport, as there are daily boat schedules. The Philippines Airlines serves as the aerial way to reach the city.
