Casiguran boasts of its superb glow of beaches. Casapsapan Beach in Baranagay Culat is famed for its shorelines wrapped with white sandpaper. Call it a haven for divers, swimmers and surfers this place promises you a relaxing ambience that only nature can provide. Another beauty of nature you can explore is Motiong Beach where Aguho trees and other exceptional tree species are nurtured. It is envisioned to hold a full-scale airfield which makes it a potential resort investment. It’s also ideal for swimming and fishing.

Sailing through a motorized boat you’ll catch a sight of Casiguran Sound Bay hemmed in by Casiguran islet and San Ildefonso headland. For windsurfers this bay is an idyllic spot. It is important that you bring your own gears and paraphernalia for surfing though. Casiguran Sound is also applauded for its strength in enduring downpour winds that usually get strong from October to February.

Another natural asset of Casiguran you can tour around is Ermita Hill which provides the tourist a 360-degree view of the city capital, the bay and the residing communities. This spot is known to be a holy place for religious rituals by the followers of Miraculous Mother Mary. A life-size statuette can be found in a cavern on top of the hill. A watchtower is also an attention-getter as it flaunts a Hispanic touch. Interestingly, it was constructed to protect the town against probable invaders. Making it to the hill is like being on top of the world. This experience is something you don’t want to forget.

You can also head to Mainit Spring in Barangay Tanib if you’re in the mood to join the picnic-loving locals of Casiguran.  More beaches and waterfalls that also provide you pleasure are Dancalan Beach Dilipot Beach Ontoc Beach Sayak-sayak Falls and San Ildefonso Falls. Casiguran’s richness in forest sites is putting it on the forefront, too. You might find it interesting to explore the green scenery.

Quoting Aurora Governonor, Bellaflor Angara-Castillo the town of Casiguran is renowned for its reliable human resources and unstinted natural resources. Truth be spread that this place isn’t just called a paradise but a haven of nature’s treat to humanity. Give yourself a privilege to be pampered by Mother Earth by visiting Casiguran.
