Busuanga Nightlife, Philippines
In an island-filled town like Busuanga, evening fun is not as sophisticated as it is in big cities. One thing’s for sure, though. You will call it a night with a smile on your face after a good dinner, a fun chat and a cold drink.
Most divers, working locals and tourists flock to Coron (the capital of Busuanga) to enjoy good conversations amongst each other while listening to the music and sipping a cold San Miguel beer. Some local dishes are served at The Bistro. If you are staying at Sea Dive Resort, you’ll enjoy an a la carte meal at a reasonable price. You might want to open a bottle of red wine or champagne for your circle of friends to share afterwards. Another eating spot worthy of your visit is the Helldiver’s Bar where billiards game, TV and overflowing beer are offered. A small disco in town nearby is believed to be where actual fun is in most evenings in Busuanga.
While the rest of the country has a solid prestige for its active nightlife, rural towns like Busuanga are trying to keep the beat going. Small bars called Bottle Ground and Irenes are an addition to the list of gimmick hubs. If you want to be away from a loud ambience, you can hop to any of the resorts such as Dive Link, Coral Bay, Club Paradise, Rio y Mar and Discovery Resort. Just spend the rest of your day modestly by feeling the breeze or drinking some while overlooking the waves.
Other tourists would prefer to hang out at Dugong Bar inside Club Paradise Resort where cold San Miguel beer and mango shake cocktail are most sought-after in the list of drinks. Another cool place to hang out is the Discovery Bar beside Dive Calamianes. It’s also interesting to linger at Maquinit Hot Spring after your day tour. It will give you a pampering experience as if you’re in a hot Jacuzzi. Most women enjoy it more than men do.
Your nightlife in Busuanga isn’t as elaborate as others hope it to be. It’s less the hassle and bustle but more of interactions with resort personnel, divers, bar owners, local vendors and fellow visitors. It’s in the stimulating exchange of experiences where real fun comes. It relieves you from work and home stress. Isn’t it stress-free vacation that you’re looking for after all? Experience it in Busuanga!
