Baguio nightlife

When adventure is endless at daytime, it should be overwhelming at night so that tourists are pampered. Baguio City has lived up to that expectation. Because it is 8 degrees cooler in Baguio than any lowlands in the country, coffee can become your best friend, or you might want to wear jackets or sweaters just to warm you especially when you’re here from May to November.

Because its populace is comprised of 65.5% youth (ages below 30), the city has more night-out gimmicks on the go. It’s a thriving nightlife hub. KTV bars and karaoke clubs, restaurants, bars, massage parlors and quick-meal shops; they’re everywhere. It’s flocked not only by locals, but by foreign tourists like Koreans, Japanese, Americans and Europeans.

Depending on what you prefer to eat, you can dine at the hotel you’re staying or just simply enjoy the usual fast food joints as Jollibee, Mc Donald’s and KFC. For a truly Baguio dining experience, you can sample dishes at Forest House Bistro & Café near Nevada Square that serves you tasty food, good music and great service.  You can also assume you’re a star in your own right while dining at Star Café & Restaurant that serves Chinese food. Café by the Ruins has mouth-watering salads, yummy pastas, refreshing juices and good coffee or tea. If you’re craving for authentic Filipino food, hop in Barrio Fiesta.

Do not worry if you stay until night at Camp John Hay, you can bounce to chill-out places like Chocolate de Batirol and Le Chef. If feeling stressed out after a day’s work plus night gimmick, your best place to go is the Golden Massage or New A Massage Parlor for a relaxing full-body massage or foot spa service.
