Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan since 1960, is said to be one of the most well planned cities when compared to the other cities of South Asia. As the corner stone of Islamabad was laid somewhere in 1960, all the modern technology was used to plan a city which will have all world class amenities. Initially, the land on which Islamabad is located was full of scrubs and basically it was open land and of no real use. But after the foundation was laid, Islamabad has popped up as a green city which is famous amongst tourists and youngsters as the place to enjoy life.

Although Pakistan is an Islamic city, you can find a touch of western culture. Hotspots like nightclubs have become integral part of Islamabad’s nightlife and they have become very famous amongst the higher middle class of Islamabad.

Youth of Islamabad have found this new way of hanging out with friends in nightclubs, sipping various drinks, and enjoying soothing music. Nightclubs have become the best way to drain off all the anger which they develop during the day while at work.

The most famous and talked about nightclub of Islamabad is ‘The Bassement’. Initially the name of ‘The Bassement’ was ‘Muddys’. This famous night club is part of ‘The Marriott Hotel’. One will find ‘The Bassement’ filled up with youngsters and tourists every night. People don’t sleep in The Bassement. Guys and girls have made The Bassement the best alternative to spend some quality time together.

The Bassement is famous for various parties which it organizes during New Year. Various famous bands and celebrity dancers (local as well as foreigners) take part in New Year parties and make them lively. Famous English and Pakistani songs are regularly played in The Bassement to keep the attendees on their feet.

Hot Spot is another night spot located in a park ‘Fatima Jinnah’. This is a famous place amongst youngsters who come here after dinner to enjoy the darkness. There isn’t any dress code in this place and hence one can wear the usual pair of jeans for their comfort. Hot Spot is covered with movie posters of Western Music and dimmed lights make it a cozy place for the visitors.
