 Casablanca, Morocco Overview While traveling through the city of Casablanca, stroll around and see the amusement parks, gardens, mosques, and medians; they are all places of interest.  A few of the parks and gardens are not just for beautifying the city, but to sit and relax and restore your energy to see more great sites.   To really feel the life of the city, you should go to the New Medina of Casablanca, a big shopping market where a lot of tourists enjoy going.  To take a break away from the sightseeing, and if you have kids, to keep them excited, take them to Sinbad Amusement Park.  This place is not only great for the kids, but the adults can also have a great time on the rides and activities.

 

 If you’re the kind of person that would just like to sit on down, relax, and indulge on the mood of the surroundings, you can visit the beach for sunbathing, swimming, sailing, surfing, scuba diving, and deep-sea fishing.

 

While you’re there, you might also like to learn some history about this exciting place and how it was came to be.  Museum of Moroccan Judaism has some interesting information about the city and cultural art galleries.  If you are a fan for the local artists or even the ones recorded throughout, this would be well worth your visit. For something new that totally takes you away from the usual traditional Casablanca cuisine, try The Sekura restaurant in the Sheraton Hotel.  It is mostly known for its Japanese cuisine.  Pretty odd to have Japanese cooking in Casablanca isn’t it?  Well, not everyone wants to stick to the traditional way. In Café M Restaurant, located in the Hyatt Regency, you will be able to enjoy a wide variety of food.  Usually local seasoning ingredients are used to prepare the dishes in here.  The café even has its own private cellar, so you can try out some of the best wine.
