Guamuchil - Overview

Guamúchil [gwaˈmutʃil], Sinaloa, is a city in northern Mexico 100 km north of Culiacán. With approximately 100,000 inhabitants, Guamúchil was the hometown of singer and actor Pedro Infante and birthplace of Mexican singer Ana Gabriel and Mexican film director Jacobo León.

Elevation 148 ft/45 m

The municipal logo consists:

1.LEFT Top- the Mochomo mountain and the Evora River referring to its region

2.LEFT Bottom- the primary elements used in commerse relating to politics, social and cultural life

3.RIGHT Top- the pacific railroad track that initiated the communication for progress in that area

4.RIGHT Bottom- the chickpea as the main product in the region

In the center part it has a man with open arms towards progress. Overall Guamúchil has been one of the cities that generates the greatest progress to the state.
