Mexico is definitely a place for traditional cultural experiences, so if you choose Ecatepec as your destination you are just thirty minutes away from one of the most spectacular archaeological sites in Mexico, Teotihuacan. This is a much frequented tourist destination and it houses some of the largest pre-Columbian pyramidal structures: The Pyramid of the Sun and The Pyramid of the Moon are connected through the so-called Avenue of the Dead, which is known for its very well preserved colorful murals.
