Acapulco’s Best Attractions
Acapulco is a place known for its appealing museums, buildings and other interesting views. Many vacationers come to Acapulco, Mexico for its rich attractions and historical sights. The Casa de la Cultura is one of the Acapulco’s most exciting cultural centers. It is a home of the archaeological museum that features artifacts originated in the Guerrero State.
The center exhibits the theatrical Ixcateopan works that includes sculptures and paintings. Here you can also find rooms for music lessons and art instruction. The Casa de Mascaras is a delightful museum in Acapulco, which features ceremonial masks. More than five hundred of them gaze grandly from stands and represents the full range of native ritual craft for dramas and dances, which are still presented today.
Cici Parque Acuatico is the place if you are looking for a more exciting and interesting adventure. Here you can enjoy swimming along with the dolphins or simply watch them playing. For a one of a kind experience, a different kind of water adventure, try their wave pool and enjoy the toboggan ride or the water slide. The whole family or your group of friends will surely find fun coming to this place.
The La Quebrada Cliff Divers have impressed several tourists as the heroic young boys dive into more than one hundred feet steep cliffs of a narrow canal of 12 ft. wide and 21 ft. deep. This is now considered Acapulco’s most renowned attraction which began in 1934. These days, the divers wait for the wave before they dive into 130 feet. This show can be observed from any part of the constructed observation deck or while you are taking dinner at Plaza Las Glorias hotel.
Magico Mundo Marino is ideal for the whole family. Magico Mundo Marino features an aquarium that has an outdoor and indoor marine-life exhibit such as the sea-lion show. This water park complex also has water slides and swimming pools. Jet Ski rentals, inner tube, kayak, snorkeling equipment and scuba lessons are also available.
The Mercado Minucipal is an open-air market where the people of Acapulco shop for their daily necessities. Here you can find leather sandals, flowers, baskets, candles, clothes, vegetables, fresh meat and a lot more. A lot of people visit the place to shop, therefore this is a busy and crowded place. If you plan to come here, be sure to come early.
