Naples should feature on your agenda if you have the time to explore more than just Rome and Milan. A less typical tourist destination than some of Rome’s more illustrious holiday hotspots, Naples is ideal for those looking to immerse themselves a little deeper in the cultural vastness that is the Roman heritage.

Close to Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii, Naples offers day tours to the sites of these historical disaster struck areas. Half day trips are also available, as well as a three hour trip to Pompeii.
