Bibione Travel Guide, Italy

Bibione -beach resort

Located between Venice and Trieste and it is divided into 3 main areas Spiaggia, Lido del Sole and Pineda the resort offers recreational opportunities for tourists who want to have a great vacation.

The resort has a long history of providing tourists a contact with a natural environment while not lacking the services a modern city provides.

It is one of Italy’s prime beach resorts and one of the finest on the Adriatic with lots of hotels lining the beach front many of which have a balcony with a sea view. Hotel Italy at least surely does. The hotel also has a small park for children.

The beach is 8 km long and has very fine sand. It is also quite wide dotted with chairs and umbrellas each of a different color representing the hotel to which they belong. They are all lined in straight rows in a very orderly manner. If you want to sit in the front row, you have to pay more of course. There is a part of the beach right next to the sea that is free and if you are low on budget and do not want to rent a chair, you can lay there.

The hotels also have swimming pools in case you want to change the scenery now and then. There is even a thermal spa centre that adds to the list of facilities. There are tennis courts, golf courses, beach games, and other sports facilities that will help you release stress. There is even an aqua park with slides that will make both kids and fun seeking adults happy. Fishing, boat renting, sailing, roller-skating or horseback riding are also options to take into consideration as in the Bibione area there are nice forests too.

There is a paved promenade that takes you to the sea in case you don’t want to walk there all the way on the sand. Besides swimming, you can rent a paddle boat and enjoy the sea.

If you want to visit the 8 km long beach, there are 2 or 4 seat bikes to rented.

There are some cabins where you can change in your swimming suit in case you didn’t have time to do it in your hotel or in case you come just for one day.

Bathing in the sea is possible from Mai to September as the climatic conditions make this possible.

Camping is also an option as there are some camping sites like Capalonga camping where you can also stay in huts. The beach is close by.

Nighttime in Bibione is lightened up by the many bars, clubs, discos and organized shows.

Your vacation in Bibione will definitely be a memorable one.
