Ulhasnagar lies around 60 kilometers from the capital city Mumbai. Ulhasnagar is situated on the western coastline and in the state of Maharashtra. Ulhasnagar is part of Thane district of Mumbai. The famous saint Swami Shanti Prakash is said to be the most renowned saints of this city and hence Ulhasnagar has a temple as well as a statue of his located within the city. Ulhasnagar also has a complete locality named after his name. Swami Shanti Prakash Chowk is named after the famous saint’s name.
Ulhasnagar is also famous for numerous parks like Netaji Garden, Gol Maidan, Sapna Garden, and Prabath Garden.
