Leh is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the States of Jammu and Kashmir in India. There are millions of visitors coming to this spot every year. Stock Palace Museum:
The Stock palace was erected in 1825 by King Tsespal Tondup Namgyal who was the last ruler of the independent Ladakh. This palace is just 14 short kilometers away from Leh.
There are also various monasteries that visitors can take a tour of which include Thikse, Likir, Alchi and Hemis. Leh is one of the most popular yet desolate locations in India making it the perfect getaway town for Buddhist meditation.
