The coastal city of Volos is part of Greece. It is located somewhere in the center of Greece. The city of Volos is also the capital city for the Prefecture of Magnesia. Many sides of this city have natural borders that are mostly rivers that pass through. The city of Volos is around 215 kilometer from the city of Thessaloniki and around 326 kilometer from the city of Athens. This proximity has helped the city of Volos heavily in terms of national recognition.
