Zhongshan Nightlife, China

In comparison to other cities in the province of Guangdong, Zhongshan has a relatively hushed nightlife.  The nights in this city can be spent at a few bars and clubs as well as cafes or restaurants. Zhongshan may not be like the Guangzhou City that has the coolest nightlife in the province.  However, it still has some bars wherein tourists can have parties and drinks.  You may go to the following places to have a taste of an evening in the city.

Alex’s Bar.  This is one of those places that younger generations can appreciate.  This spacious club has DJs and Live Bands playing up to date music that you can dance to.  It also has uniquely styled bathrooms with a TV theme.  The bar serves snacks with German sausage as its specialty.  It also offers a wide selection of drinks that range from sodas and cocktails to beers and hard liquor. Alex’s Bar is open from 6pm until the early morning.

Friends’ Club.  This is one of the best night spots in the city.  Guests can enjoy the beautiful scenery in the garden area or play dice games with the locals indoor.  This place has a traditional Cantonese bar wherein you can drink to your heart’s content while mingling with the residents or other tourists.

Restaurants and Cafés

Tourists who are not fond of crowded bars and noisy clubs can still experience a great nightlife in Zhongshan by having a dinner at the city’s most revered restaurants.  After that, they can chill out at a cozy café. You may take note of the following spots:

Zhongshan International Restaurant.  This place serves the most delicious dim sum that you can ever find in Zhongshan.  However, the price is more expensive than the other restaurants.  The interior is a typical dim sum restaurant but the dishes are really excellent in taste and quality.  One of the most requested dishes is the XO turnip cake.

Papponi Osteria Italiana.  If you are looking for another flavor aside from Chinese cuisine, this is a place that you should visit.  This place is the only restaurant in Zhongshan that has an all-Italian menu.  Food choices range from thin crust pizzas to pasta that has ten different selections.

Fuhua Lobby Cake Shop.  The atmosphere of this café is western.  This is a good place to chill out after a full dinner.

Nightlife totally varies from one place to another.  What you could find in one city may not be the same thing offered in the other.  Zhongshan’s night options differ from Guangzhou but it is at par with the kind of pleasure you are looking for.
