The Suzhou’s temple scenic sight is the Jiangsu’s provincial scenic view that is situated at the old canal’s side, 3.5 km to Suzhou at west and has about 45 hectares. There are a lot of sights and 4 provincial preservation sections of the cultural and historical relics at scenic spot.

The humanistic views are bountiful and have beautiful natural tourist attractions. The temple of Hanshan was firstly created at the time of the Tianjian’s sovereignty of Liang Dynasty. The Mooring poem at Maple Bridge on night that was built by Zhang Ji of Tang Dynasty is very lovely and oft quoted. The sounds of its bell-tolling and the poetic rhyme made the temple of Hanshan prominent both from abroad and at home. The Jiangchun and Maple Bridge has stretched above the old canal and are elegant and simple in shape.

The Tieling pass that faces the water in two sides and lying from side to side of Maple Bridge is the sole relic extant for the civilian and military people in Suzhou during Ming Dynasty that resists the aggressors. The ancient Maple Bridge city was a lavish market site in the thriving times of Tang Dynasty. It has elegant and simple structures with rivers behind and streets at front. With low and high houses, flourishing commerce and with exceptional style, the city is an ancient one with shopping, enjoyment and tourism combined as one.

Situated at the Hanshan yard, one can find the planted blooming cherries with a sweet scented osmanthus. The green trees are the one that gives shadows to the yard. The prominent momentous relics of Maple Bridge are a broad expression of the traditional crafts and arts in Suzhou, which artistically reproduce a flourishing view.

The scenic spot of Hanshan temple can be considered as a vacationer resort that provides pleasure to several visitors with its cultural and historical style that mostly features the “five ancients”.
