Fort Nelson is a small town in the province of British Columbia, Canada. It is located in the northeastern part of British Columbia. This town is located at the confluence of two rivers namely Prophet and Muskwa. It is the presence of these rivers that controls the climate of Fort Nelson. The total precipitation is around 452 mm. June and July receives the highest rainfall while December and January receives the lowest rainfall. The annual average temperature for Fort Nelson is just below the freezing point. The highest temperature can touch the heights of 37 degrees Celsius in July.
