Natal, Brazil - Overview

Natal is a beautiful city perched on Brazil’s Atlantic coast. It is called the gateway to the beautiful beaches of Rio Grande do Notre. It is not a very big city but an important one. According to NASA, Natal city has the cleanest air on the entire continent. Natal is the perfect destination if you want to enjoy stunning beaches and get away from the polluted places where you are living.

Natal city is surrounded by Dune State Park where one can enjoy a buggy ride on over 30-foot sand dunes or take a dromedary tour of the sand dunes. Some famous places in Natal are Avenida Engenheiro Roberto Freire Avenue, Morro do Careca and the Machadão Stadium. 

The famous beaches you must go to include the Ponta Negra beach. If you want a secluded beach, go to Pipa and Pirangi beaches and if you are looking for lots of fun go to Genipabu and Tibau do Sul. Some good places for shopping are: Nordestao and Hiper Bom Preco supermarket and the shopping centers: Shopping Cidade Jardim, Praia shopping, Natal shopping centre and Via Direta Shopping.

 You can also go and see the world’s largest cashew tree also in Natal and some famous museums and monuments.

You can find a number of hotels all around the city. You can stay in one of the hotels on the beaches and explore nature at its very best. You can drive along the beaches or take a long leisurely walk along them. Enjoy the perfect weather and roam around in the streets of Natal to get the feel of the city.
