Salzburg is a really nice city, historical and by the sights. First thing probably everybody knows, it´s the birthplace of Mozart, the famous composer. Because of that fact it´s also the place where you can find the sweets 'Mozart Kugeln'. The things you should look at are the castle Salzburg on top of the city. Another attraction are also the many Coffe houses, restaurants where many Austrian go to, just for drinking a cup of coffe and enjoy the view, for example on the river Salzach, which runs directly through the town.
At least there are many things you can do, also shopping, but you should visit the city by yourself and see it!

If you are at Salzburg, there´s not only the fact interesting that Mozart was born there. Also the medieval castle Hohensalzburg, built in 1077, is really worth to see. The outer facilities can be watched by yourself, for the inner circle there are audioguides.
