If you are such then go to areas like Newcastle's East End or the harbor-side; you will come across a number of outdoor dining-cum-drinking facilities like The Brewery, Customs House and Scratchleys (on the Wharf). Besides, the Beaumont Street and the Darby Street also have a huge number of licensed cafes, pubs and restaurants.
So, Newcastle nightlife means something for everyone – for different age-groups and inclinations. The enthusiastic Novocastrians (the Newcastle locals are called thus), who horde the entertainment venues, particularly on weekends will only add to the pleasures of your night out. You really do not need to bother if you have company or not – go foot tapping with your buddies/date to the music whipped up by the DJ at a club or just have a blast of a time with the locals at a pub.
