Rosario travel guide

Rosario is a famous city in the Santa Fe province of Argentina. Santa Fe lies in the Pampas region of Argentina. Pampas happens to be the central region of Argentina which is bordered by Chaco in the North, Mesopotamia in the North East, La Plata River in the East, the Atlantic Ocean in the South East, Patagonia in the South, Cuyo in the west, and Andean in the North West. The only other city in Santa Fe province is the city named as Santa Fe itself.

Rosario wasn’t a famous tourist spot in Argentina but it has slowly started to attract tourists. Currently it is the third largest city of Argentina.

Argentina Flag Memorial which is called as ‘Monumento a la Bandera’ is an important tourist attraction in the city. Another tourist attraction is the birth place of El Che. This house of his birth is called as Entre Rios St. and Urquiza St.

The stadium, La Cancha de Ñuls, happens to be a great place for a photo shoot. Only club members (Newell's Old Boys which play and practice in the stadium) are permitted to enter the stadium, anyway the external beauty of La Cancha de Ñuls is worth cherishing.

 Rosario is also famous for its swimming amongst the tourists and also the locals of the city. Various adventure events which are regularly organized in Rosario are a tour of the complete city on a bike, kayaking, sailboat rides, horsebacks rides, dance classes in tango and folklore, Spanish classes, capoiera, and drum / guitar classes. These and many other events have made Rosario the next hotspot of Argentina.

As mentioned above, Rosario has grown as the hub of Spanish classes in last couple of years. Over 15 institutions (run by government as well as by some private organizations) are attracting locals and travelers, from all over to learn Spanish.

 Rosario’s most happening place for shopping is known as ‘El Centro’. You might be surprised when you see the quality of products being sold in El Centro. They are no way below in terms of quality when compared to products of various shopping malls. Underworld is a famous store, which you might not find anywhere else in Argentina, but it has many centers in Rosario. Underworld is famous for its unique style of t-shirts and other next-gen type of clothing.
