San Jose Museum of Art
Recognized for its contemporary collection of modern art, the San Jose Museum of Art highlights movements on the national and international pieces. It was started as a small civic art gallery in 1970s and has grown in size with its city. It is open from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm, Tuesday till Sunday. Entry fee $8 for adult, $5 seniors and students with ids.

I prefer museums with older pieces of art, but indeed, SJ Museum of Art has got a great collection of more contemporan items.
