First you could check this travel guides about Nepal of Travelgrove and other Nepal guides and tips to know as much as possible about the country. I believe it is one of the cheapest destinations in Asia and yet, really wonderful.

Nepal is probably the cheapest destination in Asia, so you will not need very much money to live on. Food is very good and people, although most really poor, are very nice and helpful.

Hello Friends,

I don't know which places you like but I know lots of things about Nepal.
I recommend you to visit following places in Nepali (kathmandu Valley)
1. Kathmandu Durbar Square
2. Bhaktapur Durbar Square
3. Patan Durbar Square
4. Nagarkot
5. Swoyambhunath
6. PasupatiNath
7. Laakuri Bhanjyang
8. Godavari
9. Changunarayan
Above places I listed are all located inside Kathmandu Valley so I think you will need around 2 to 3 days to visit all these places and you will cost around Nepali Rs. 15000 ($200). Beside these places in Nepal, you must have to visit Pokhara and Chitwan. If you don't you will miss many things. I had visited pokhara many times. I like most about pokhara is View of Fishtail Mountain. You will that mountain very clearly and you will feel that very near to your eyes. But government has banned to climb up Fishtail mountain since many years because of its beauty.
In Pokhara, there are also many treking and hiking route that you will enjoy. Phewa lake, Rupa lake, Begnas Lake, Rara lake (most beautiful in Nepal), Se-Phoksundo Lake, Tilicho Lake (Lake which is located in highest point from sea level in earth), there are many more places to visit. Moreover you will enjoy diverse Nepali culture. More than 80 languages are spoken in Nepal and all have their own different cultures and occasions. You will find Nepalese shy people. any kind of Nudity in public is restricted. People are helpful, whoever you will meet during your visit you will find smile on every faces. All people will willing to help you at any condition without any expectation.

Thanks And Regards.

Hello Community,

Nepal is a landlocked country in Southern Asia, between the Tibet autonomous region of China and India. Attacks can be indiscriminate, including in places frequented by expatriates and foreign travellers. There continue to be isolated incidents of bomb attacks, shootings and political violence across Nepal, including in Kathmandu. These incidents have resulted in the death and injury of Nepalese civilians. Tourists have only very occasionally been injured. These actions are carried out by a variety of political and criminal groups, especially in the Terai. You should exercise caution in public places and take local advice. Recent significant incidents include:

1. On 30th April 2012, a bomb exploded during a political protest in Janakpur, south-east of Nepal, killing four people.

2. A bomb exploded at the entrance to the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) in Kathmandu on 27th February 2012, close to the offices of the Supreme Court, the Prime Minister and other parts of government. According to local reports, three people have been killed and seven injured.

3. Four explosive devices were detonated between 25 to 28 March 2011 on public buses operating in the Terai region. One person died and 44 people were injured.

Best Regards,
