Maui Kahului
If Hawaii is famous for it's "aloha" culture, it is Maui that takes all the credit for the enticing and beautiful nature. It is the place where tropical rain forests give way to the vast volcanic lava fields, the breadth-taking exquisiteness of cyan breakers crash into the sea cliffs, and where you don't want to blink your eye because you'll feel afraid that you'll miss something.

I've been to Maui one time, but I went as a family vacation. I would say it's not the best place to go with family or friends. Maui is a honeymoon paradise, so it's best to go with your significant other. Honolulu would be better for friends and family vacations.
