Laundrettes on cruise ships
Are there laundry services onboard? If so, do I have to pay for them?
Thank you in advance.

:) Haaaaaaa,

I'm not the expert but I perhaphs there is laundry on these ships as well, otherwise people would get reaaaaaaaaaly stinky after 2 weeks. :D

Sorry, it's a good question, just a little bit funny, hopefully somebody will know the right answer. :P

I'm afraid that somebody is me. :)
There is laundry room on almost every cruise ship. Some ships even offer the use of their washing machines and dryers for free.

The machines of the ships mostly work with coins. The average fee is 1$ per load of the loandry and 1.50$ per hour for the dryer.
You will also have instructions on the wall for the usage of the machines and coin chargers. Soap and other things you might need can also be bought.

Just one tip: go to do your laundry is early in the morning or late at night so that you can surely find a free machine.
Be careful, don't forget any piece of your underwear in the machines! :)
