Four Skills to Save on your Travel Budget
Travel Budget is the first things you need to consider when you have a plan to travel. If you know about some skills, money can be saved or same amount of money will bring you more values. Do you know how to save travel budget?

The first skill: choose low season
The fares of transportation and accommodation always take a large percent of overall cost. Do you know if you choose a right time, you can save much money? In the low season, neither flights nor hotels will offer big discount. It may save 40-50% budget for you.

The second skill: the more persons you have, the less money you pay.
You can invite your friends to have a tour with you, or several families consisted into a group. It will save much money, because you can share with fares of transportation and guide service. Travel agency can apply group tickets for you in a low price. In addition, if you have more people, you will have a chance to taste more delicious local foods when you have your dinners.

The third skill: choose a professional travel agency
A professional travel agency not only provides excellent service but also save money for you. Skills and experiences are needed when arranging reasonable itineraries, while professional operators can do it much better. This travel agency will be a good choice if you want to travel in China.

The fourth skill: spending days to enjoy local culture
The main purpose for traveling is to experience different sights and sounds. Before traveling, you€™d better research some information and choose typical attractions you are interest. Arranging one or two days, it all depends, for you to explore the destination on you own, will be a better way to know about the local features and unique folk customs. At the same time, you can save some money. It is really€ kill two birds with one stone€, why don€™t you have a try?

I agree with the NATAS packages - it's very affordable indeed.
A traveller should also know how to choose options in choosing flights according to their budget, for example, they can use a site like http://www.airticketonsale.com/ - it compares fares per airlines. It's a helpful feature

That was very helpful. I agree with the poster above. But for some places low season may not work as it is specially about scenery. Weather becomes major factors in places like Himalayas.
The monsoon clouds come till the giant Himalayan barriers and down pores in around June - August. There is very less visibility and traveling is difficult. It is summer and is best time to travel to Tibet though. Monsoon clouds can't penetrate the Himalayan barriers to Tibet. This is why Tibet has comparatively less rain and the land is arid.
However, people traveling with limited budget can always find alternate routes and destinations which sees less tourists and will be cheaper to organize.
Such as in case of Trekking in Nepal, Everest and Annapurna sees majority of tourists throughout the season. But there are treks like Helambu, Langtang, Shivapuri, Siklis, Chepang heritage Trail, Tamang Heritage Trail. These trekking routes see way less tourists even in the main season.

Everyone loves to travel (almost everyone). I certainly do. Believe it or not, doing it right and doing it on a budget takes a little skill, knowledge, and practice. However, the required skills are not difficult, the knowledge required is easy to obtain, and the fun is in the practice! I must say very useful tips.

you could also so about booking your flights at the last moment for a chance to get a discounted bargain deal!

I dont agree with your suggestion Gerry. firstly planning international trips on chance basis is not quite such a wise idea, its always best to plan in advance for your precious travel trips as they are very costly anyways discounts or no discounts. Secondly, what if you dont get the bargain deal you were hoping for, you will have no alternative choice but to pay whatever demanded, which may as well be higher then usual too! buying tickets in advance after a litlle survey is more advisable
