What's the future way of shopping for airline tickets?
Travelgrove is the new breed of travel sites, that allow users to search many different travel sites at once. However, the conventional consolidators in the industry like Expedia and Travelocity have other great advantages mainly content as well as user loyalty. With the Travel Meta Search Engines, the airlines themselves will also get more independent, as they have more alternatives to the rather expensive distribution channel through consolidators.

It will be interesting to see who will benefit most from these new developments. Let's hear some of your opinions.

Hello everybody,

for me it's very important to find the cheapest flight I could get. In business i have to decide rapidly which flight is the cheapest and I don't have enough time to compare all the airlines.
So I use the travel meta search of travelgrove.com. It gives me very fast an overview of the different airlines and the different prices.
So it's very easy for me to pick a cheap ticket.

So long as I as a consumer benefits that's all that matters to me, so long as the airlines are saving money and passing on the savings to consumers I'm happy. Right now Travelgrove.com does all the searching for me, I don't have to enter all my details over and over again that's one of the best parts and then it finds me the lowest deal and I like that!

I love the new airfare alert system on Travelgrove.
Finally something that really saves me some time!

Cheers

I think the future is in handhelds, which are already becoming more and more widely used for this sort of thing.

Also, once we get voice recognition to work better, booking travel via the phone will be super easy.
