I was at the Saint Ana Lake just near Tusnad, it is a volcanic lake, it is just amazing. A lot of vegetation around, trees, and rocks, it is superb. You should enter really free in the lake, it is not so deep, the deepest point in the center is about six meters and it is not very cold in the summer. It is a habit to go in the lake and wash away your misdeeds with the water of the lake what is called to be the tears of Saint Ana. There are nice souvenir stands around the lake with some rather nice things.

Mioveni Sights

The water surfaces are usually the favorite place for local fishermen and the nearby area is full of alleys, small parks and gardens, very appreciated in summer. Numerous willows, poplars and locust trees border the river banks and create a wonderful landscape especially in autumn when the leaves change color.Mioveni, Sights – Culture and Arts One of the most unique buildings here is the Racovita Manor. Generally, these manors are tall buildings with white painted walls and ramparts,... Read more »
