A relative of my friend (her cousin) if my memory serves right, offered us to ride on a raft. He said it's fun and etc. We saw people riding on the raft and it looked fun. But there is a fee.

We talked about it with my husband and sure thing we both agree to treat our friends riding on the raft and my friends will pay the guy (my friend's cousin) in his labor of pulling the raft going towards the falls, going underneath the falls and back to our cottage.

So all the girls were riding on the raft including me, my husband and other guy friends as well. This was the first time we rode on the raft. The water was very cold, it even made me tremble due to its coldness. But nevertheless it did not stopped me even my friends to have fun.

The cousin of my friend started to pull the rope and we went a little bit nearer to falls and we can hear the strong sound of the falls already. As we went nearer my friends and I shouted our lungs out. I felt a little bit scared sort of, maybe some of my friends said. My friend's cousin said to lay down on the raft so that we can pass through the big rock so we did, my girlfriends were so noisy including me shouting and laughing.

After we laid down on the raft, it moved towards where water falls is I mean where the water fall down from the top. My friend's cousin said to lay still in order to have a back massage straight from the falls. Even though it's a little bit scary all of us tried it out. And oh my gosh! It was so... I can't even explain the feeling of it all. Even though we were wearing the life jacket, I can still feel the pressure of the water and it was pounding so hard on my back I mean literally. It's not really painful it's the pressure of the water that make it kinda heavy on the back and there is no escape for it.

We went out from the falls already going back to the cottage, we all looked exhausted. Now, the second part of the riding on the raft. My girlfriends and I are the only ones who went again. My other friends don't want to do it again, my husband stayed in order to take some pictures of us.

We went to the same route again. My friend's cousin told us to lay down again in order to pass that big rock and we told him not to have the back massage through the falls. What he did? Even though we try to escap the back massage still he manage to let us have it again and after that we were all exhausted and still laughing our hearts out for that experience.

It was worth it actually, having a back massage with a massive water falls on my back...

Cebu City Nightlife

Every night is dynamic as music of live bands move the party butterflies to the dance floor. There are numerous bars to hop to like Ratsky’s Mouse Trap Bar in Ayala, Yo.u in Mango Avenue, Paseo Bar in Mabolo, Formo and Vudu Clubs in Banilad, The Outpost and Sunflower City in Lahug, Loft in Asiatown, Badgers’s in Talamban and a lot more. As the influx of foreign tourists in Cebu has increased for the past years, there isn’t any night that you don’t see a flock of Europeans, Koreans, Japanese, Americans, Aussies and Chinese gathering for some night-out, disco and drinking....
