A weekend in Naples, Italy

Naples itself isn't a very beautiful city, in my oppinion. In its outskirts often look spoiled and dirty. The city center looks better, but cant compete with the centers of other big cities.
Besides that, Naples has got an exceptional archelogical museum, you really should visit, if you're interested in history of the Greek and Romans.
Next to Naples exists another historical place, that's besides Pompei a real treasure. It's the ancient roman 'city' 'herculaneum', hercolano in italian. There's a complete city preserved, even wooden beds you can see there aqnd amphitheaters, completely subterranean. You shouldnt miss that.
Altogether Naples is worth a journey, but not for longer than a weekend.
