How to get to Szentendre, Hungary

Szentendre is a beautiful little city near the capital of Hungary, Budapest. The historical city center is the best part of it :) Cars are not allowed in, there are many little shops with hand-made things, and if you climb some stairs you reach a church from where you can see a big part of the city and the Danube river, too.

You can visit the city coming by car, but if you are in Budapest and you want to try something new, take the train or better, buy a ticket for a cruise. It's not a real cruise, of course, but they take you to the city by a medium size ship in about an hour and a half. Meantime you can see Budapest too, from a new point of view.

Visitors can view the artworks of the Ferenczy family at the Károly Ferenczy Museum, exhibits of surreal visual arts at the Anna Margit... Read more »
