One Night in Budapest, Hungary

This was perfect. Instead of traveling alone for 10 hours I could join up with him, split the trip in two and have some fun while getting back home.
I took the train this time to Budapest where I arrived at around 8pm. I was supposed to meet my friend at his hotel at 9pm at the hotel but he didn't show up. I had my first beer and waited more for him. Finally he arrived at 9:45 all pissed. He had met two girls at some tram stop. They asked him to join him for drinks and he quickly went with them. According to him he had drinks at some terrible bar, with 2 average looking women and he left the place with a 70K forint bill ($300). He was so mad and I assured to him that the night was young and we could still have some fun.
So we did... We went to two different clubs/bars and had some $1 beers again (much better than the $300 bill earlier). We went back to the hotel at 5am and had another glass of wine. We slept until 8am and took off to catch the train to the train station as his car was parked in Vienna. Getting there on time was only possibly of course by paying off the cab driver to go faster and faster...
We caught the 9am train just on time and were off to Vienna...

From the eighth century, this region was inhabited by different tribes and ethnic groups. In the 9th century, the Hungarians appeared in this region. The Hungarians established their settlement in Csepel. They also established the seat of their prince near Danube River. The Mongols invaded Buda in 1241. The Castle of Buda was fortified in this period. In the 13th century, Buda took over the major roles. Castles were enlarged and churches were reconstructed....
