Not far from Miami there is a place destined for all those who like sunshine, and the combination of luxurious buildings with pristine natural surroundings.

The coast is renowned for its beauty and great resorts people are looking for. All along the coast you can find places like Fort Lauderdale, the Palm Beaches, the Everglades, Jupiter, Boca Raton, Hallandale, Hollywood, Pompano Beach, Dania, Deerfield, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach.

There is no shortage of beaches here and the waterfront offers numerous opportunities to relax and practice water sports. For the more relaxed visitors a good way to pass the time is to watch the ships go by. Ships are a sight you could have seen for a long time as the coast has always been a stopping point for traders. Even the name of the coast ”Gold Coast” is linked to the numerous ships that have passed by and that carried treasures of gold. Now there is another type of gold to be found in the region, not a material one but one that brings another kind of happiness for the soul “fun and relaxation”. Quite different from what it was some years ago.

Thousands if not millions come here every year to get away form it all and enjoy themselves and Florida Gold Coast is the right place to unwind. You can never get bored as 60 miles of coast offers you a variety of opportunities to last for a lifetime of vacations. The best idea is to come by car as this way you can see all the coast. The main highway is Interstate 95 but you can also take Florida Turnpike. A map with all the bridges that lead you to the main islands comes in handy. While U.S. 1 offers a view of the malls and hotels, A1A is the most scenic one.

Even if you lived there you would not get bored and the 300 miles of Intracoastal Waterway will give you plenty of space to roam.

Many come to live here because they want to escape the crowded Miami and the cold weather up north, here they have found the space and the beauty they’ve been looking for. No wonder the area have known a great development and in the last few years a lot has been built, you wouldn’t recognize the area! With so many people coming in money is coming in too so there has been a revitalization of the whole area.

Of course you can have all the fun you can have in a city: shopping, going to a bar, disco, watching a film but of course that’s not the attraction you can find all this in places like Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and Palm Beach! The natural beauty of the coastline is the attraction and to be able to fully enjoy that you have to drive along it and take your time to explore some parts you find irresistible.

Anyway of course you have to stay somewhere and Fort Lauderdale is among the favorite but other locations are favored for different things. For example Jupiter is favored by sports lovers as it has a big stadium called Roger Dean Stadium.

The only disadvantage is that summer tends to be pretty crowded and hot so spring and autumn are a good period to visit.

Florida Gold Coast will always be a good destination for all those who want scenic rides, relaxed atmosphere, fairly uncrowded places, natural beauty all for a good price!
