Welcome to Balboa, CA, Balboa Island, California
Reviews > North America > United States > Balboa Island > Welcome to Balboa, CA
Balboa is a tiny peninsula down in the heart of Southern California. All the old timers from So Cal live down there, mainly because it's so expensive and also because it's a calm place. It liiks like everyone is happy here. I love the place for Thanksgiving and to see all the funky decorations that people put outside their houses for Christmas.
Boating is also amazing in the clean, blue ocean all year. The Balboa Island Ferry is nice as well, that's the actual means of public transportation, really gives you a special feeling.
BTW, every other house has a USC flag... it's a big plus there!
