Tea valley, Rain Forest, Tribal village, SRIMONGAL Srimongal- the Tea capital of Bangladesh is just 191 km from Dhaka. The lush green tea plantation, Rubber garden and the beautiful lake always attracts the foreign tourists.
The Lauawachara rain forest is the habitat of white browed Gibbons,
hornbills and many other rare animals and birds. You will be inspired to visit the colorful Manipuri tribal culture.
Explore also Khashia and Tripra life style. The Madhobkhunda waterfall
and the stone query from the hilly river at Jaflong
(Bangladesh - India border) will be interesting for anyone.
Srimongal is also famous for lemon, pineapple, orange and many
other delicious fruits. The rain forest and wetlands of Srimongal
and Sylhet are the best place for bird watching. Here you may find
many species of local and migratory birds.
Srimongol Trip (Eco Cottege) by Car

Day 01: Start from Dhaka in the morning at around 6.30 am
by train about to Srimangal – a countries of “Two leaves &
a bud “ the huge quantities of high quality tea production centre
in Bangladesh h. after arrival guide will receive and take you to
the Srimangal Nirob Eco Cottage. In the afternoon drive to a nearby
tea plantation and visit the Manipuri and Khashia tribal village
to know their life style: agriculture, weaving and betel leave farmer.
in the late afternoon visit Madhobpur Dam (lake) surrounded by high hills.
on way back to resort you find scenic beauty of tea garden,
rubber garden & betel nut tree. relaxed in the special tea stall
to experienced five layer tea / green tea. Dinner & stay at eco resort.

Day02: early in the morning walking into the Lawacharra rain forest
to observe the many species of Birds, insects, endangered wild animal.
it is the home of “ Hollock Gibbons “ as tropical rain forest of Bangladesh.
Here, you find many species of birds which is more interesting
by the birds watchers. you find most greenest areas by the tea garden,
rubber plantation, pine-apple plantation is more attracted by a naturalists.
After breakfast completing two hours drive to Madhobkunda waterfalls
(biggest waterfalls of region). you may trekking to hills (200ft.)
return to srimongal and drive to visit Baikka beel where you find
thousands of local & Migratory birds. start return drive back to Dhaka,
on way dinner from high way restaurant. arrive at around 10:30 pm
at your nominated pick up point.

Dhaka History
