Yes, Cebu is really interesting and I am 101% sure you are going to love it here for $200-$300 you will have 1-week worth of fun and adventure. If you will come to the Philippines and visit Mindoro and Boracay, if you got time maybe you can drop by here in Cebu:) I will be your tour guide for free!

Cebu sounds interesting. Philippines has so much beautiful sights. We were on our way to Malaysia & Philippines (Moidoro & Boracay) in 2005, but sadly we never got there. We got pneumonia both of us and had to cancel our tickets. When we recovered after half a year, we went to other places.

Maybe we'll go to the Philippines some other time :-)

The pay is not that good being a teacher but being a part of my students' lives that is worth more than the most expensive diamonds, nothing can compare to it. Also, I can have fun as well esp. going to different places here in Cebu.:)

I am more of a writer that is why I post tons of articles way back and went back to writing travel journals just few days ago. This is my one way of promoting my hometown Cebu, Philippines:)

Accounting hopefully in 1st sem this coming June I will be teaching management subjects. This is the reason why we had the field trip to museums, old houses etc. As for the Mall of Asia, you will get lost if you don't know the way out lol:) It's really huge (in my own point of view) I don't know about the malls on your country it might have same size with SM Mall of Asia. There is a restaurant there that served spaghetti bolognese with egg on top, oh so yummy. My hubby and I keep on coming back there. Fun? It was so cool, they have this nice view like beach view of the place. Plus a merry-go-round inside the mall beat that! I will post some pics on our trip to Manila, esp. to SM Mall of Asia.
