Yap-San Diego Ancestral Home: Decision to Visit

- The reason why my students and I visited the Yap-San Diego Ancestral Home

This is the story of how my students, me and my hubby have gone to visit the house.

I went to the different museums the day before our field trip. I tried to know the route and be familiar in going to the different museums for my hubby since he is the one whose gonna drive us going to the museums.

After I visited the first museum on my list, I just walked straight and on my way going to another museum I saw an old house, there is a black stone with scriptures on it some sort of a note, a summary of the house. It was entitled Yap-San Diego Ancestral Home. I was looking on the open space on the lower ground floor, I saw quite a few people there. I asked a guy how much is the entrance fee, and he called up another guy to answer my question. 

I got the answer, and told him my students, my hubby and I are going to come over and see the house. Then, he had given me a different price which is 50% off from the original price. I was so happy since my students are a on a limited budget and I don't want them to spend much on the entrance fees rather spend on food during lunch time and have some extra at the end of the trip.

He said to call him up at a phone number he had given me. I memorized the phone number and said okay. After which told him will be coming around 10a.m. After that conversation, I tried to have a glimpse around the house, inside it and even the garden. As well as reading the whole summary placed, scripted on that black stone. It was quite an unusual place that house is situated. All of its neighbors are buildings and some houses made out of cement and are well-painted. It was the only old vintage, centuries old house on that street there that was indeed preserved and converted into a museum.

A discovery I made and it's worth the visit.
