Washington D.C. is best known as the Nation’s capital. The city itself is like a gigantic museum with world re-knowned landmarks including the White House, U.S Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, the Smithsonian Institution and the National Gallery of Art.

This majestic city can be yours to view almost for free, as many of the monuments and parks are accessible at no cost. Visitors each year make an attempt to visit the city when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom this adds a softer side to the city, which has always been better know for it’s politics.

Washington D.C. is not as swank or trendy as New York or San Francisco, it draws it's visitors who are interested in the history of this nation. There's a monument or memorial on almost every street corner, go ahead and explore this city and enjoy your visit to the nation's capital!
