Coastal city of Monastir

by Wazling

(about Monastir, Tunisia, last edited on Dec 04, 2008)

The ride to Monastir was in comparison to the distance before quite easy, because we were in the vicinity of the only highway in Tunisia, so it was no problem to get there.

Monastir is like the others also a town of tourism. It´s quite loud, spoiled and not very nice. Things you can do there are very few. We watched the middle aged castle in the centre and the beautiful view you have from the top of the castle.

But at this time we were so fed up of ugly places and "friendly" people, that we didnt spent much time there and left soon back to our hotel at Hammamet.
