After a little fight with the police lady that caught us on the bus without a ticket, we were a bit agitated but still in good shape. And no, we did not go to the world's most important church because we wanted to wash ourselves clean from our terrible sin that morning :) Seriously, I was so mad at that lady because I really tried to buy the bus tickets, but it's hard now because you can't buy the bus tickets everywhere anymore. Also, the next day we tried to buy the tickets inside the bus and it worked wonderfully, not this time... well... and they really make you pay for this - around 150 bucks a person.
Also, it was funny how some people in the bus saw us trying to buy tickets and they started fighting with the police. So funny, this woman was sooo mad, she kept screaming. At the end, we did not pay anything, I am curious what they will send me to Germany :)
Anyway, we still made it alright to Saint Peter and boy is that a church; fantastic! You can probably put many churches into this one church and there would still be enough room to hold mass.
Anyhow, Saint Peter is not the most beautiful church in Rome, but it certainly is the most impressive. Unfortunately, we did not make it to the Lateran this time, but Saint Peter was good enough.
We left the church rather quickly, as I had caught a little flu and was getting tired a bit. We left Saint Peter and went back to town for some more sightseeing as well as some shopping.
