Visit Badrinath Kedarnath to Seek Inner Peace

India is a country of beautiful culture and many mythological beliefs. There are many places of religious importance in India. The Chardham Yatra is considered to be the most religious pilgrimage that a person has to undertake during his lifetime so that he can attain the path of salvation or Moksha. Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath are considered to be the Chardham. All these four places are in the state of Uttarakhand in India. Visit to only Kedarnath and Badrinath is known as Do-Dham Yatra and is of utmost importance to the devotees of Shiva and Vishnu. The pilgrimage to Badrinath Kedarnath temple starts in the month of April and goes on till November. There are many tour operators who offer the complete Chardham Yatra packages.

The Badrinath Kedarnath Tour is believed to be the initiation of Shri Adi Shankaracharya and a visit to these places is said to wash away all the sins of a person. The Badrinath Kedarnath yatra is considered the holiest of the yatras and thousands of pilgrims visit these places for worship.

Badrinath is known as an abode of Lord Vishnu. The Badrinath temple was originally constructed in the 8th century by Adi Shankaracharya. This temple has always been a source of attraction to all the Hindus who believe in Lord Vishnu. The three main attractions of the Badrinath temple are – Darshan Mandap, Garbha Griba and the Sabha Mandap. The entire temple sculpts in black stone which makes it extremely eye catching. The temple attracts visitors from all over the globe due to the presence of spirituality, peace, and calm. The trip includes visits to the temple that was constructed by the Kings of Garhwal and two hot springs called Surya Kund and Tapt Kund.

It is said that when a person takes a bath in either of these springs it completely purifies their body and soul as well. The other places of importance during this trip are the five badris and Vyas cave which is in a village called Mana. The best time to visit this place is from May to November. During the winter the place is covered with snow.

Kedarnath temple is said to be the abode of Lord Shiva and is located near the river Mandakini. This place is also known for the Samadhi of Shri Adi Shankaracharya. Kedarnath is one among the twelve jyotirlings in India. It is said Lord Shiva is present in the form of a Jyotirling or cosmic light. This temple is covered with snow peaks all over. The temple has a garbha griha where the main deity resides and a mandap for the pilgrims. A conical stone inside the temple is worshipped as Lord Shiva.

Apart from spirituality, the Badrinath Kedarnath Dham is also known to attract tourist for its scenic beauty. Apart from these divine places the other places to visit are Guptkashi,Gaurikund, Sonprayag, Gandhi Sarovar, Valley of Flowers, Vasuki Tal and Joshimath. Thus apart from having a religious trip one can also enjoy the joys of nature on their way to the most blessed places on earth.
