There are more then enough Grand Prix locations to choose for, and it’s a piece of cake to organize a nice holiday for yourself and make F1 part of it. So if you’re in the mood for some car racing and sightseeing at the same time, check out these top 5 destinations for Formula 1 fans.

    Spa, Belgium

The Shell Belgium Grand Prix takes place on the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps near the town of Spa in Belgium. Spa, at the heart of Belgium’s Walloon region, is located in a charming green valley in the Ardennes Mountains, and like its name says, it has enough hot springs to satisfy even the biggest spa fan around.

After the excitement of the race, there’s nothing better than relaxing in a hot mineral spring.

    Marina Bay, Singapore

Marina Bay is the newest district of  Singapore, and the epitome of all things modern, so there’s no better place in the city state  where the F1 grand prix could have taken place. Marina Bay Street Circuit is slap in the middle of the district, with improvised pit stops and other amenities. There’s a lot to do in Marina after the race: theaters, restaurants, parks and museums.

    Suzuka, Japan

The city of Suzuka in Mie Prefecture is a bustling and lively city that is stronger on urban attractions than cultural ones. When it comes to shopping and nightlife, you can’t really get bored in Suzuka, and there are a few interesting temples and museums too for culture lovers. The main draw of the city is the 8-figure race track and the race itself, but the city is also a pleasant place for a holiday.

    Mokpo, South Korea

The first ever South Korean grand prix took place in 2010 in Yeongam county, on the brand new Korean International Circuit. The circuit is close to the port city of Mokpo, which is not a bad place at all for a South Korean holiday.

The city is ripe with culture: temples, museums, theaters and more lights than in Paris. Also, there are quite a few natural attractions near Mokpo, so nature lovers will have a lot to do too.

    Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

One of the most sparkling F1 destinations is Abu Dhabi, where the Yas Marina Circuit is located. Abu Dhabi is a huge city with so many things to do that you don’t even know where to start.

See the mosques, the parks, the modern architecture, go on desert safaris or enjoy the luxury of the city.
