The musem is as much a work of art as the collections within. It was built at the end of the 16th century by Giorgio Vasari, and accomplished architect and art historian.

    Prado Museum, Madrid, Spain

    The Prado Museum features one of the most extensive collections of European art on the entire continent, and it is especially famous for Picasso’s ‘Guernica’ and Velasquez’s ‘Las Meninas’. The museum owns collections of Spanish, Dutch, French, British, Flemish and Italian paitings, and sculptures from various periods and parts of the world.
