    Treasure Island Hotel and Casino

A visit to Las Vegas is never complete without going to a casino, but if you are bored of traditional casinos that don’t offer anything new and imaginative, don’t despair. All of your casino-related fantasies can some true in Vegas, if you know where to look.

There are tons of themed casinos that look and feel special, and where you can find something different to do. No more dull evenings for you, just take a look at our list of the coolest themed casinos in Las Vegas.

    Treasure Island Hotel and Casino

If you were one of those kids you wanted to become pirates when they were little, you will love this place. Treasure Island was built in 1993, and was supposed to be a tower of the Mirage, but it eventually became a full-fledged hotel on its own. The Treasure Island was inspired by R.L. Stevenson’s piratey books, and you can get your fill of buccaneering if you go to see the free Sirens’ Cove show.

    The Venetian Hotel and Casino

It’s pretty clear where this hotel and casino got its name, seeing as it features a life-like replica tower of St Mark’s Campanile in Venice, Italy. This hotel is pure luxury, and while it looks very much like a piece of Venice (especially the canals), it looks to new and shiny to really resemble the Italian city. However, the Venetian theme is very pleasant, and you can spend much time at this casino just looking at the decor.

    Paris Hotel and Casino

Paris Hotel and Casino is one of the most famous casinos in Vegas, not only because of its luxury and style, but also because of the half-scale replica of the Eiffel Tower. The front of the hotel was inspired by the Paris Opera House and by the Louvre, and there are some other Parisian landmarks that are copied in the decor: a sign in the shape of the Montgolfier balloon, a small replica of the Arc de Triomphe, and another replica of La Fontaine des Mers.

    Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino

This hotel and casino used to be called the Aladdin, and was themed accordingly up to 2007, when it was converted in Planet Hollywood. The retail space was tuned into a Hollywood-themed “Miracle Mile Shops”. The entire building has a very hip and  modern look, and since the theme is Hollywood, don’t be surprised if you see a bit of debauchery here and there (for example games dealt by young ladies in “chic lingerie”, or go-go dancers between the game tables).
