    Love it or hate it, fact is that McDonald’s can be found all over the world, and not only in places where you’d expect to find one, such as a big city. McDonald’s, in some people’s eyes, is THE American franchise, more widespread than even Coca-Cola. Sure, McDonald’s food is unhealthy and not exactly gourmet chow, but when you’re low on money and you have no local alternatives, it can be pretty much a lifesaver.

    It is interesting to see what locally-adapted menus in various parts of the world (and maybe it is even worth trying a Malaysian Double Beef Prosperity Burger), but what is even more interesting is to hunt down McDonald’s restaurants in the weirdest places you can imagine.

    Europe is not all about art and historical monuments: there are many party people who are traveling all around Europe in search for the best nightlife just as there are cities whose bars and clubs have become their biggest attraction. Many of you might find today’s list to be quite predictable, but omitting the following cities from such an article would be an unforgivable sin:

    Today I’ve decided to tell you a little about those devilish pleasures that, consumed with moderation, make everything around seem pinkish. Five different drinks and their historic routes open the gates towards five different continents. Although, in some points, historical accuracy has been neglected for the sake of variety (“varietas delectat” the wise Romans would say), this post guides you to some of the most amazing places on earth, in an attempt to reveal an often neglected way of traveling.
