When I planned to come in Austria for a weekend, I decided to revisit Vienna again before heading to Semmering. First thing I thought in my mind was that I should also visit the places in Vienna which unfortunately I skipped, so it was very delightful to experience the other places

  • Salzburg

    Salzburg

    Salzburg

Salzburg is the storybook of Austria. Standing beside the fast-flowing Salzach River, your gaze is raised inch by inch to the Altstadts mosaic of graceful domes and spires, the formidable cliff-top fortress and the mountains beyond. The view never disappoints and interestingly it never fails you.

I think that this amazing place,  Salzburg is Austria’s best city. It is full of history, and though I visited other important cities like Vienna and Graz and they are beautiful on their own way, none of them rivals the charm and beauty of Salzburg. Every moment I enjoyed in Salzburg, even if you wonder around the streets, you always have a beautiful view of something, a thing that flabbergasted me the most.

The town has managed to preserve an extraordinarily rich urban fabric, developed over the period from the Middle Ages to the 19th century when it was a city-state ruled by a prince-archbishop. The city lies near the German border, it’s about an hour drive from Munich and 3 hour drive from Vienna.

    Portugal

    Portugal

Cinephiles looking to explore the locations of their favorite films have an obvious treasure trove in America and Japan, but what about Europe?

European cities feature frequently in high profile films, but usually as an anonymous substitute for American locations, leaving a cinematic ramble across Europe considerably harder to do.

With that in mind, here are the best European locations to re-live some of the most iconic moments in European film history.

The list of adrenaline-raising, potentially life threatening and utterly crazy extreme sports seems to be getting longer every year, but a would-be adventurer can always return to old classics that were popular before everything else requiring hi-tech equipment.

Jumping off a cliff is one of the simplest things a traveler can do, and not even because the hotel had bad service or food, but rather for the sheer fun of it.

Cliff diving is one of the most dangerous sports in the world, but it has been practiced by people for centuries, and it even has a world federation today. But as much fun as cliff diving can be, it is always better when you find a stunning location for your death defying act. Here are some of the most beautiful cliff diving spots in the world.
